A Consumer’s Walkthough on Ladders

Here is a brief walkthough on ladder. For many tasks, the rigid ladder is the type often used. Rigid ladders come in many varieties, from the fixed to the roof ladders. The most basic of these is the fixed ladder; it has no moving parts. Extension ladders are the type that can be lengthened, since one part is nested in the other for storage. Step ladders are always joined by a hinge at the top of its inverted V form. A platform step ladder has, because of its name, a platform at the top. Ladders that have hooks to set them locked on the roof are called roof ladders. Aluminium is the choice material for many ladders, except those for electrical work.
